David, Jenny, Diana, Ed, Edwin, Anthony, Katie, Brian, Mary & I enjoyed a wonderful happy Christmas. It is so very nice to have my entire family here at the same time. And for the most part we even got along.
It was 31 years ago yesterday that my mother died. For many, MANY, years Christmas pretty much sucked for me. When I decided that my children and my wife were more important than letting one bad day ruin all of my Christmas's, the spirit came back to me. Yesterday and today have proven to me that I can miss my Mom, but I don't have to miss life at the same time.
To all my friends and family, I wish you a very Merry Christmas, and a new year filled with forgiveness, enlightenment and wonderful memories.
May God bless you all.

What is Christmas about?
...It's not about trees and lights, nor spending money and giving and getting presents. It's not about Meatballs and Ham or even mashed potatoes and peas. It is about spending time with family, hugging children and seeing the magic in the eyes of the littlest ones. It is about the memories of past Christmas's and departed family members and friends. But most of all It is about JESUS. Let's remember why we celebrate this holiday. Let's help remind the children, both young and old, just what the REAL reason is.
There is no better gift that I as a Husband, Father and Grandfather could receive than the gift of my entire family being together this Christmas. I feel so fully blessed with my family and friends, and for the gift of Jesus.
May you all have a very blessed and wonderful Christmas.
